II. Approval of the May 1, 2026 Meeting Minutes [Approved. A discussion ensued about potentially recording the meetings or expanding the meeting minutes, it was agreed to provide more robust meeting minutes, especially regarding “tabled” proposals.]

- 2026-2027 COSCC Chair Vote [Elisabeth Epstein will be the new COSCC Chair for the 2026 to 2027 Academic Year.]
- October’s Guest: Todd Rose, Executive Director of Gateway (formerly INTO Mason) [Jen advised the COSCC that a guest and potentially department chairs will join our October meeting.]
- The COSCC thanks Fernando Camelli and Carlos Rautenberg for their service on the committee and welcomes Gabriela Bulancea as the Mathematical Sciences Department representative.
- The COSCC thanks Nathan Burtch for his service as COSCC Chair.
